How many years ago was that? If its more than 10, than you don't have a clue what's happening in CA. If there is a state in the Union that changes faster than the wind, its CA. Fifteen years ago, LA was totally dependent on the car.....had one lite rail line and some buses. Today, it has the second largest mass transit system in the country.......6 lite rail lines; several commuter train lines; a massive bus system; and a subway. No other city or state can pull off that kind of change in such a short period of time. So unless you've lived there during the past 5 years, its best to listen to what the residents are saying.
