how are the carriers to be paid? I'd be happy with the price of the plan for the iPad. I think the iPad model is ideal for the tablet market. The subsidy model with the 2 year contract for a >$40 data plan isnt going to fly for the vast majority of people. The ability to pick and choose when to activate a data plan opens up tablets to far more possible customers while still retaining the option for mobile data. JMO, but tablets are going to become ubiquitous over the next few years. As price decline, we'll see multiple units in people homes...one for each person. Slacker
