Another one (executive) bites the dust......

OREM, Utah, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL) today
announced the resignation of Stephen C. Wise, senior vice president, finance, effective September 27, 1996. Wise is leaving Novell to assume the chief financial officer position at Legato Systems, Inc., a Silicon Valley software company and Novell partner.
"We thank Steve for many years of effective contributions to Novell and its finance organization," said Tolonen. "Steve has built a strong and mature finance organization within Novell. We wish him well in his new position."
At Novell, Wise has reported to executive vice president and chief financial officer, James Tolonen. He joined Novell from the Excelan merger in 1987 and has served as senior vice president, finance since 1994. Novell will assign Wise's responsibilities to existing management staff in its finance organization.

Tell me that all these resignations over the last four months is good for NOVL and employee morale. I hope the company is still around next March so that I can attend Brainshare '97. Utah is one of the best places to live...next to Colorado.
