Sample Letter: It has come to my attention as an investor and researcher
in Year 2000 issues that there appears to be a paucity of coverage re:
the seriousness of the Y2K problem in the US media. As a respected
media source I urge the NY Times to do an exhaustive research project on
the Y2K problem with particular attention to:

Embedded Systems on Factory Floors
Aviation Safety
Utility Delivery and Nuclear safety
Railroad Transit and Operations
GPS Systems
Fincancial IT systems
Hospital Systems
Military Communications and Strategies

This issue requires coverage from a responsible news media because it
affects the fabric of our society, which has become so dependent upon the
microprocessor to function smoothly and successfully. The Times has risen
to the top in the past on many difficult issues and I believe that
this ranks as high as any global political or social problem today.Thank
you in advance for your participation in this matter.
