Chart of the "day" - what does it show? An economy that had become heavily depending on a domestic housing market that does not create a cent to US exports - quite the opposite. More appliances from Asia.
Was it millions of construction jobs that Greenspinner et al created while exporting manufacturing jobs - unfortunately housing created also US manufacturing jobs like at Goodman in Houston TX - they make furnaces/AC units. Gone with the wind.
However Ford has demonstrated there might be light at the end of the tunnel.
Did this hot shot hedge fund guy Paulson really believe housing is coming back in a New York minute?
Who is making those job growth predictions anyway?
I suppose Wallstreet
