hi larry. no, i no longer have any apm, and for exactly the same reasons as you. mr. crisman painted a misleading picture to si members who took the trouble to get in touch with him.

i still have a token amount of seg -500 shares- and a not so token 6000 shares of qntm.

what burns me me about all this is that i didn't follow one of my own rules - the first loss is the best loss, or, alternatively, what starts bad ends worse. i should have sold apm when wdc pre-warned, because it should have been clear to me that if wdc was hurting, apm could not be far behind. don't have the numbers in front of me, but that would have saved me about 10 bucks a share.

on the other hand, i will keep my qntm. not only because of dlt, but also because i've found that my capitulating on a stock that has burned me is a pretty accurate contrary indicator. if qntm pre-warns or posts disappointing numbers i'll review that position. but if i do sell i'll put in a buy stop above the market and hope i don't get whipsawed!
