i can understand why she hasn't commented on the abortion issue. i believe that taking a stand against abortion will lose her more votes than it gains her. the issue is highly divisive. the abortion issue should be handled at the local level, not federal. i object to the federal government having enough power over me to tell me what i can or can't eat, or in any way telling me what i may or may not do with my own body. the issue should have never been allowed to come up in the supreme court. the government should have been told long ago that it had no right to have its nose in such matters. i believe that that would have been the stand of the framers and early presidents. they would have told the government to go to hell.
