How much evidence to you need, Tim?
To think that the world has gotten warmer since the end of the little ice age? I've already seen the evidence. Its really solid, basically beyond all reasonable doubt.
To think that the world is in very recent years getting warmer, or alternatively that the last few years are just a short term blip against the trend, and soon the world will resume getting warmer, and not just warmer, but much warmer, and that human emission of CO2 is the overwhelming cause of this waring, and that the warming will cause disasters like those shown in Al Gore's movie, but that if we institute cap and trade, or a carbon tax, we will prevent the disasters, and at the same time only cause minimal harm to our economy? I would need massive evidence, while what's been shown has been slim to none.
Somewhere in-between those two points? Depends on exactly where in between. "Global warming", and even more so "climate change" is way too broad an idea to really answer your question for the subject as a whole.
As for the supposed evidence in your post, its about weather not long term climate change, and it includes a statement about the coldest July 4th you've seen. It doesn't even amount to evidence for just about any important point relevant to the climate change issue. |
