President Bush drove this economy into the ditch Sad tribute to the state of American indoctrination that Democrats everywhere are using this theme unmolested. The biggest factor in the ongoing contraction was an expansion in credit, particularly in real estate, directly attributable to policies mostly favored and sold by Democrats. That's generally unknown among most of the electorate. The "media" won't bring that to light and I haven't seen it illuminated by the Republicans. Could it be that most voters don't have the foundational understanding to grasp a pretty big truth? Or might politicians in general be afraid that more might realize they all share common traits with the Wizard of Oz?
