Don't remember the dipstick but I do remember getting pulled over one winter running purple gas i.e. farm fuel that was sold cheap to farmers with a dye in it that you would get fined for using on a highway or public road.

The trick was you could get the dye out by letting it sit in a clear container in the sun but on a minus 40 day you just took your chances.
