Zeev, you know I can't keep my money far away from you. ;-) I tried to snooker the MMs at the end of the day. A trick that works sometimes is to place your order right between the bid/ask on a stock that is "stuck" for most of the afternoon. Then just before the market closes, send a cancel in for the order. If there is not much activity with the stock the slimballs will sometimes take a smaller profit and give you your price before they acknowledge the cancel. When they don't have much time to think, you can pull it off. It works ~ 40% of the time. However, the GPGI slimeball MMs didn't go for it today.
