Ted Kaczynzki was [is] very intelligent and quite rational. We might not like his conclusions or actions resulting from his thinking, but he had a good case. I prefer to accept that he was right about what's going on, but damn the torpedos, full steam ahead. I'll take my chances with what we create even though it is as unnatural as unnatural can be and that humans are not designed to cope with the result [being a form of primate with most people borderline coping let alone enjoying the process].

It's harsh and cruel, as nature is when evolutionary processes grind exceedingly fine. But that's life in the fast lane.

Chimps can still earn a living in the forests and humans who wish to can still live like the Amish and in warring hunter gatherer clans in their wilderness habitats.

Few people have read the Unabomber's manifesto. Ironically, he was on the side of most people who are essentially Luddite, preferring the status quo.

We don't know where we're going but we're on our way. The Unabomber's answer was to stop going there. I prefer to go there anyway and find out where we are when we get there and argue about where we are going and where we should go during the journey.

Al Gore, the Unabomber and the Warmabomber had a lot in common.
