I think there are good reasons to discuss ideas of evolution and how the reality of evolution can be assessed in a philosophical framework. The history of earth and the evolving of species from bacterial forms is obviously a FACT. It must be accepted. Likewise, it is pertinent to entertain and debate the possible existence of supernatural beings. However, rational people must know where to draw the line...

Discussing an imaginary being--who has deep interests and feelings and prejudices...and other mortal and conditional attributes--while defining (gratuitously) such a being as omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, etc.--is really beyond childish! It is actually moronic to the nth degree! Might as well praise parents for drowning their children--or excuse drunkards (and consider them "most beloved"--for raping their daughters (Hello, Lot!) :-(

If humanity wishes to invent a Supernatural Being and discuss Her, Him, It..then they should invent one that can exist within the laws of reality! This is not 5000 BC when diseases were caused by demons and cured by a "priest" packing sins onto a goat with 89 (magical and brumarific) legs and an IQ to match!! :-)
