We probably go through deflation walking on current path; however, what may cause hyperinflation is unintended consequences of hasty actions taken in a poorly understood worldwide economic environment when the soverign governments start to panic and decouple. That can bring unexpected results and one should be sort of prepared for those consequences because there may not be enough time to act.
