Just got off the phone with my Merryl Lynch broker down in New York. He tells me not to dump my NOVL holdings even though the news coming out in the media is -'ve. His counterparts at other firms are betting a deal is in the works and that NOVL will be acquired within the next six months. IBM is on the top of their betting list. He estimates IBM could pay upto $5 billion for the company. His last line to me: "accumulate more at these prices". If anyone has a broker on Wall Street, find out if he/she has a bet on the table then perhaps you can post your findings on this board. V.K
