Thanks for your response. Seems a really lively discussion has now ensued on the other thread. While I agree with Javelyn that 1998 is likely to be a very unpredictable period in which the stock prices of these companies may rise and fall dramatically over relatively short periods, I do have a different view on VLNC. While the initial spike will not be supportable by earnings, I believe that they will show a steady rise in earnings because the schedule calls for the continuous increase in production capacity with the addition of a new line every quarter. In addition, the joint ventures will also eventually begin to add to the revenue stream.

I'm not sure what ULBI's plans are with respect to capacity, but I assume they have a similar plan. I don't think the PC Week article will have any lasting effect on the price, either.

I also agree with Javelyn that LITH looks like a good longer term opportunity, and I will be buying some shares soon.
