Nonsense. Its already caused work not to be done, hundreds of jobs at the very least, probably thousands including less direct jobs. And that's after a few months. Keep it going and tens of thousands of productive jobs will be lost, US energy production will go down. Keep it forever and you toss away resources worth trillions.

What we don't have any evidence for is the idea that the moratorium had an even minuscule safety benefit.
