If you say so. From what I can tell Islam's history since 1,500AD has been getting it's butt kicked around and colonized by groups more powerful than it, basically the same thing they did to their neighbor countries in their expansionist mode from 800AD on.
As I have posted before, take a look at where you live. The violent portion of your country is centered around the Muslim population.
Yeah, I agree that most everywhere (other than Malaysia) on earth where a significant population of Muslims live next non-Muslims there are major problems. That's an issue for Israel, the Sudan, the former Yugoslavia, Kajmir, the Southern Philippines, etc. In most of these hotspots, the Muslims lose (oh well, see a pattern?), the poor fellas.
But posing any kind of threat to Western Civilization? I doubt 230 million Indonesians would stand a chance in a war with 18 million Australians. They'd get crunched in a few weeks, and the UN would come in and give them handouts for the next 25 years. Some threat. |
