How much American is \200,000? This is the apparent price of the Sony reader steve's Sony link is advertising. Important: I personally talked to a bank president and a multi-bank owner saturday. I ran some of the things IDX is doing and what they are capable of doing by them for their read. Both of them agreed that smart card and fingerprint technology would be in their banks in the future and didn't have any sort of argument against it. I also asked them if any sort of a salesman, or company had contacted them in regards to this sort of thing and they said they had not been approached! Q? Is American banking resistant to fingerprinting and smartcards, or rather, the products are so new they are not being sold on a large scale yet. I think they are not being sold yet and the American market will be easier to penetrate than most people imagine!
