No, American evangelicals are less crazy than Muslim extremists because they don't behead people, strap bombs to their bodies and blow up people, set IED's in roads, form mobs that chant death threats ....... Look, I know .... American evangelicals are white Americans (okay, not all of them are white, but in your mind they are) and therefore you set an incredibly high standard of behavior for them. Muslims on the other hand are, in your mind, brown third worlders and you EXPECT them to be murderous savages .... so you have a very low standard of behavior expected for them. Thus its easy for you to equate one American pastor of a tiny church threatening to burn a koran with mobs of thousands of Muslims chanting death to America, terrorists who kill Christian aid workers, cut off people's heads, set explosives in markets ..... Thats how you equate morally one American pastor burning a book with massive numbers of bloodthirsty killers .....
