I attended the JMAR session at one of their presentations at the AEA. Much of it was a repeat of the presentation DR Martinez gave at the stockholders' meeting. One important addition however was the statement that JMAR has advanced its diode Britelite power past the 100 watts level. He stated this is adequate to produce commerical ultra precision laser machining platforms and he all but stated that there are orders to buy this platform, but his micromachining team may choose to go with a higher power. Martinez instructed his team they could use whatever power they want to go with, but he wants to stick with one power model to manufacture at ppl.

I think it will not be long before we get more news on this part of JMAR which has enormous potential.
