Why aren't liberals loudly assuring the world Christianity is a religion of peace and toleration? After all, the precedent has been set .... if Muslims commit some atrocity, massacring thousands, sawing heads off, its important to respond by announcing Islam is a religion of peace. So when are liberals going to get with the program and say similar things about Christianity now that one preacher has threatened to burn a koran? Whats the matter - is burning a koran not scary enough, does he need to kill some aid workers or something to win liberal respect?

How come when a small group of Muslims kill innocent men, women, and children (e.g., 9/11, Bali, African embassies, Spanish train, British train, etc.), we’re reminded that Islam is a religion of peace, and that the murderous acts were those of fanatics; but when a small group of Christians decide to burn the Koran, there’s nary a word of Christianity being related to peace or that such a wacko group of self-proclaimed “christians” are fanatics?
