I don't really agree about it being the correct vote, but I don't think viewing it as correct is entirely unreasonable. But what does all of that have to do with my post. The point is that the Dems are starting to run away from Obama. Votes in 2003 are irrelevant to that point. Why are more Democrats campaigning on the fact that they passed health care "reform"? Why are they running away from their record? Why are they ducking appearance with Obama?
