The Columbine killings were attributed to their love for violent video games:

Falsely in my opinion.

You're telling me a video game of someone murdering kids and babies as I suggested possibly does not even cross line 2 for you?

Maybe. But not very far past that line. Not a reason for serious outrage even if it might be something I see as wrong (and fictionally portrays something I'd see as very wrong)

But I'd see it as similar to a movie about the same subject.

There is no killing , they are using blanks.....now before you go and say the same about video games

Blanks can actually kill (not at range but up close). The games aren't going to kill anyone.

And the opfor exercises are much more realistic than any computer game. The image of the "wounded and dead" is less realistic, but almost every other aspect is more realistic, often much more.

and one pictures in their mind the actual killing as if they witnessed it.

I don't think most people would. Its not a 3D 5 senses thing, and also people know its fake. Graphic violence in video games is somewhat like slasher movies, not my cup of tea but not something that I find highly objectionable.

Also you graphic violence is a different point than having the game be run from the perspective of our enemies. You can have one, the other, both, or neither in the game. They are two different topics.

If the concern is more graphic violence than "taking the side of our enemies" (in a fictional presentation, that doesn't effect the real world) than its probably off topic here. For that issue you might want to respond to this post -
