I'd say that for most people it doesn't make much of a difference either way.

I think for some people it is likely to increase the real world activity in question, for others decrease, but I don't think there is any way to predict how each person will react, and I don't think we really know the direction of the overall effect, but I think the magnitude of the effect is small whatever the direction.
