9/10/10 Update
It was a quiet week on Wall Street, with both Labor Day and Rosh Hashana keeping trading subdued.
At Friday’s close, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -1.18% YTD (vs. down -1.56% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 3.63% YTD (vs. up 1.25% YTD a week ago). The Contest median was virtually unchanged for the week, up 2.36% YTD (vs. up 2.40% YTD a week ago).
With DEWDIL’s portfolio being IDIXed, ROCKY’s portfolio (up 46.11% YTD) took over first place and now holds a commanding lead. FILO's portfolio (up 20.95% YTD) moved into second place, with SCARAM’s portfolio (up 20.17%) close behind in the No. 3 spot.
At Friday's close, 19 of the 32 Contest portfolios remained in the black with 16 of the 32 beating the NBI.
