Let's try this one more time ... just like 7 months ago, there are NO
AMD/Cyrix servers. The problem is that the PPro server is superior as
compared to the other CPU's. Notice, we are not talking about the sub-$1000
market built by third tier companies (FrogLeap, CyberCrash, DingBat ...) that
are using the AMD/Cyrix CPU's.

One can't decide to selectively use a server for "less demanding" applications
like you can with sub-$1000 computers. If you want to use serious 3-D
graphics (Adobe PhotoShop ...), games (Quake ...) or FPU intensive
applications (SUPREME, Prolith ...), then you need a high performance
CPU (like the PII).

If the AMD/Cyrix CPU's are such a good processor for servers, then why
is AMD/Cyrix's market share lower for servers than for PC's??
