Doug: Those are scenarios that I would like to see explained also. As for the one where he calls France, the way I understand it, his call goes to sat and then to nearest gateway, back up to next sat over France, and then down to the nearest gateway to Alcatel. I bet the call would never go to the Texas gateway, but be shuffled the other way towards Europe. That one migt be the cheapest call of them all!
