Thanks for the "flowers" even including the <g>. LOL A couple of reasons for not sticking around: 1) I am not an American. I "migrated" some 30 years ago from Germany to Canada after "test visits" to the US and South Africa. I believe to this day that I made the right choice ... 2) I very much enjoy political / philosophical discussions around a living room table. Ideally with a glass of single malt Scotch or a good Cognac. I don't believe that public forums like this lend themselves to such topics as they are "faceless". SI, for me, is a venue to gather and share information regarding investments and investment ideas. Add to this the odd joke or even minor (hopefully constructive) argument.
