I called customer service today. They are really efficient. I needed an upgrade. They had all the info regarding my original purchase, plus my prior purchases. Readily advised me on what I needed.

Then I asked to be switched to sales. Same story: courteous, efficient service. Told them I wanted a second computer for my kids. Cheapest one they had was $1500 with 166mmx with 512 cash, 16 megs SDram and a 15" video screen. If it came with a printer, it wasn't mentioned.

They have nothing cheaper. Asked what about the $1000 computers. Oh, I was told, that's just old merchandise the other companies are trying to get rid of for Christmas. Huh?

So there it is folks. less than 7 weeks to Christmas and Hannuka and they don't have a product in the hottest selling catagory. They just lost a sale to me. I'll probably buy my kids a Compaq from CPU.
