I brought up the racial issue and it wasn't until after I posted about how inappropriate it was to joke and mock the black women who were the victims of a shooting as if the were simple crack whores. Nobody had any information regarding those victims except that they were black.

The affirmative action posts were made after I mentioned how inappropriate it was to denigrate the women simply because they were black. I call that back peddling.

Explain to me how it is an intellectual issue to mock shooting victims who were killed at work because they were black?

Then John went further and posted that the urban areas with "majority populations of undesirables" should be fenced in and provided weapons and grenades until they exterminate each other. He defended that comment by stating he didn't say blacks or minorities". Fine. Now explain what city or cities John was talking about that has a "majority population of undesirables".

Not that it is necessary but simply to place the remarks in context, they directly followed the discussion of the shooting of the black women by the black woman who is also a muslim.

It appears that you are the one walking on egg shells to preserve the integrity of your thread by not facing the facts.

You can talk, programs, money affirmative action etc all you want, however, that wasn't the genesis of the discussion.

It was hardly as you so poorly describe someone mentioning race and someone becoming paranoid.

If your mother and wife got shot at work would you feel they deserved to be talked about as if they were crack whores fighting over a pipe?

I don't think so. Many people felt the discussion should just be dropped. I did. You won't and continue to carry on as if someone simply mention race and people went crazy. Maybe they did, but if so, who was it that went crazy after the race of the victims and shooter were mentioned.

So if you want to discuss the issue, why don't you go back to the original posts, not the back peddling affirmative action discussion.
