Granted bentway makes a concerted effort to prove what an asshole he can be and there are others who are happy to exploit any current event for asshole partisan purposes. However, Quran burning or Mosque building is not relavant to Christian persecution. Christian persecution in any event is an ancient phenomenon, in which circumstances we saw every form or violent repercussion coming from Christians as circumstances permitted, including Christian on Christian. Few legitimate claims could be made in modern times except in modern culture where Christians insist upon inserting themselves so as to proselytize their religion in a culture where they're not welcome, if you can even call that persecution. Where genuine persecution does exist, we can find exact counterparts in the world where Christianity obtained a dominant of a culture and became the persecutor. Not in America and other countries where there is a separation of church and state and in America the brow beating that Muslims get is persecution. How much longer? They take it for the most part and keep it pretty quiet, except within their own walls where it is a constant stream of discussion because complaining about it in public only makes matters worse. "OMG she wants to wear her scarf at work, the end of life as we know it!"
