Hey Ten. You are arguing with the dictionaries not me. If you want to select a particular heinously brutal level of persecution as the only definition you will except, it is fine with me. I was just trying to clarify how it is an umbrella term and you were simply wrong about 'the very definition,' but I haven't watered it down. It may be what is conjured up in your mind but there is a lot more to it. It is in fact not true that physical treatment/punishment even killing is always the most harmful. There are many things I would gladly die fighting against than to allow myself to submit to them. But if that is how you want to view the world, you are free to do so. I will just have to disagree.
