'that would be the two decades after we destroyed the competition in WW2 Once that advantage was gone, the elites came up with globalization(ie. crush the US middle class) ...export the US economy to cheap labor 3rd world.' true but all those trends played themselves out..key is what is next and it ain't Reagonomics, another military strike, the tea party or screw the bankers to save this day..the biggest enemy is the cancer within American society these days on the far right...not Muslim terrorists, China, Americans living well beyond their means the past decade or even our expanding welfare states in the ghettos or demographic trends in Mexifornia/Texmex..what you see on this board is now a reflection of what seems to be going on in the real world a far cry of the visionaries 3-5 years ago..it was so much worse coming out of WW II for anyone in my family who lost everything yet those folks with a positive attitude, good work ethic and spirit prospered then as will those today
