Paul, RE: Intel MMX at 290 MHz

Did you notice that the AMD K6 running at 250 MHz was only 0.7 Winstone points (1.2%) below the 290.5 MHz Intel chip?

He also said that the MMX chip running at 290 MHz was a good match for the Pentium II at 300 MHz.

This means the K6 at 266 will be close to matching the performance of the overpriced P2-300.
