You are free to ignore what ever you want. It means nothing to me.

The sarcasm was an expression of my amazement with your question. Muslims in the world live in various circumstances and some of them are very harsh. The reasons for extreme reactions are diverse but I can offer a couple, which I assumed were common knowledge.

* Some are uneducated except by the some religious authority who has a community status of leadership. Some of these dudes are self serving radicals who can easily rile up a mob to react in extreme ways.

* Some have suffered oppression, or struggled in every way possible to meet their survival needs. They have been lead to believe by one source or another, America is to blame for their hardships.

* Some have actually been the victims of torture, persecution, or tragic incidences war related or otherwise, or they empathise with someone who has, which is the quickest way to create a hardened radical.

* Some are just being like our own folk, who love to yell and scream about the evil guy over there, for no better reason than to establish a feeling of belongingness with their kith and kin, which is one of the strongest motivators for any mean action.

There are probably others but those came quickly to mind.
