It is of course the culmination of a chain of falsehoods, of an attempt to view the entire world through eye pee-colored glasses. That's simply a bad idea.

Net neutrality is a political catch phrase, not a smart policy. It was meant to apply to, well, something -- probably Bell and cable ISPs, who were suspected of not permitting pR0n uploads or something. It has nothing to do with fiber, and less to do with radio.

And no, a wireless mic can't use IP. Get over it. IP is dumb and trying to packetize real-time activity is even dumber. The packetization delay alone would cause the mic to be useless.
