Is there a reason you think 65 is a super number when folks are living much longer today? Living longer has nothing to do with what kind of physical shape a person is in when they reach a certain age. I can't think of a more heartless thing to do than to require a man - or woman - who has given his life to a physically demanding job and then force them to continue working because someone else who had a nice easy cushy job can still work when they are 70. But that's the American way isn't it? To hell with enjoying life - better to be .....working on the chain gang
