The Tea Party is in favor of big spending on defense and foreign wars.

the tea party movement has been against every form of big spending from the beginning. most understand that we need a military but it can be much less expensive than it is now and still do the job.

They didn't come out anti-stimulus until Obama started diverting TARP to housing, automakers, states, etc.

they were always anti-stimulus and anti-bailout. the first paulson bailout of his buddies under bush marked the beginning of the movement. it later became galvanized with santelli's "are you listening mr. obama?" rant on cnbc.
