I think one of the problems is that you and notebook users in general will be notebook mind centric for awhile. You just don't want to adapt to a different kind of keyboard (a newer device sans physical keyboard) - you will, eventually because one of the things about tablets is that they are highly efficient - that's why they activate so quickly.

It's like the home theater receivers of today have humongous software palette's instead of a million buttons on their remotes. It definitely takes a person who does not mind adapting but this is the way technology works.

As soon as you add a keyboard to the tablet, it gets clumsier. That's no fault of the device but the user.
