We'll either have to have marked increases in both Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes, an increase in the retirement age, or a reduction in benefits, or possibly a combination of all three. A means test would take care of SS. Do Buffet and Gates really need SS? As to Medicare, how about addressing cost? BIG disappointment that Obama didn't address this in his health care bill. Sadder yet that republicans sat on their hands rather than become more engaged. .....Remember we pay like double what the rest of the industrial countries do on health care - how about putting us more in line with what they pay?
