I spoke with Mitch Menik who is a investors relations rep with Actrade. He informed me that the TAD program has a patent pending and that other than the patent the only barriers to others doing what Actrade does are marketing expertise and certain regulations that would prevent a bank from using the TAD program. Mr. Menik indicated that he thinks Actrade can maintain their growth rate for the next few years via increasing advertising and hiring of account execs to target specific industries. He also commented that Actrade applied for national NASDAQ listing Aug 26 and it is running about 6-8 weeks for approval time.
