WSJ had a good piece today on how AIG has implemented strict risk management controls through independent officers in its divisions who report to the top guys. If more companies do that and the Feds keep a closer eye, it should be harder to ramp up the junk like they did last time.

But there will be a new bubble lurking out there somewhere, there always is.
