Frank, the increased rate is obviously proof of Global Warming <then there were no repeats of this until about two or three years ago, when entire neighborhoods were subjected to much of the same. And now they (tornadoes, twisters, Category-3 type "microburst" storms, which the 'authorities' take days to classify, after the fact) are touching down more frequently. > Or, as the White House Science and Technology Climate Czar John Holdren now says The Greenhouse Effect, aka Global Warming aka Climate Change should be called, "Global Climate Disruption". cnsnews.com or, as I like to more precisely and scientifically call it Vaporisation Volatility.
The manifestation of climate is in the water cycle, rather than the CO2 cycle and vaporisation is the start of that process, whether it's evaporation from leaves, soil, lakes, or oceans or the heavy breathing of climate change adherents and Olympic athletes. CO2 just has a part in the collection of the heat which propels the VV process.
Getting to grips with the VV process is far more tricky than getting to grips with CO2 because other than being turned into plants, oceanic plants and animals and being subducted to the ocean depths with the Gulf Stream and the equivalents in the southern hemisphere, CO2 stays as a gas.
Water though, does metamorphic tricks, hiding as gas in the air, condensing into water, or crystallizing as snow or freezing into hail, turning into giant piles of ice at the poles and glaciers on high mountains and filling huge ground water reserves. Water floats around as clouds and is responsible for huge changes in albedo due to ice and snow, cloud and plant cover changes.
Water pumps vast amounts of heat from equatorial regions to the poles and circulates energy around the planet in the air and oceans.
CO2 is easy compared with H2O.
