Hi DRoot!

Just got back from Vegas so I apologize for the late reply. What is holding the stock back? Well, conventional wisdom would say that the market is not willing to pay a premium for a small mining story, and that the defined resource is small. I have heard a lot of analysts say they do not cover the stock because the market cap is too small or because they cannot project future earnings with confidence.

On the other hand, IPT is one of just a handfull of juniors with a strong history of quarterly profits even during the downturn. IPT controls a huge property base with targets to last 100 years, and a successful exploration track record. The company also has demonstrated success at new mine development. And one can point to the strong balance sheet and tight share structure that would be the envy of most other juniors. So there are plenty of attractive considerations to warrant interest in the story.

I guess it represents a leap of faith that the company will continue to outline and develop new resources to keep that mill running and continue to generate profits going forward. However, to answer your question, what will get the market interested is a breakout in silver itself. At that point I think any silver junior will fly, and those small companies with recurring production should all attract a premium multiple as new money flows in for silver leverage.

I am content to hang in with IPT because the stock has proven very safe and solid through the ups and downs during the last few years. I would be happier to see it back above $2 but I think in time it will get there and then some.

cheers!
mike
