(Off Topic) Well July is the warmest month in Russia---(70 to 85)

However its probably not the best month for doing business (since everybody is growing food at their dachas to have food for the winter) unless of course you were visiting some of these one industry towns in Western Siberia.

My impression from visiting one and meeting with the BOD that controlled all economic activity within the town was that they are at the beginning of the DP curve. They couldn't tell how much it cost to produce their widgets on a per unit basis and needed accounting systems, inventory systems etc. 60% of their work force was engaged in equipment repair. Capital for investment was non-existant. And incidentally their computer programmers are as arrogant as ours!

Moscow is like on another planet. It has always been a showplace. In Soviet times it was a reward to be transferred there. Now even more so. Most Americans I met, except for some AID consultants, did not get out of Moscow (and didn't want to!), but some do and I think its very rewarding in terms of understanding Russia.

========================
Fall sets in during the month of August. Winter is really cold. But I'm game for anything.
