Chris, the worst of the damage has been done. Is there more to come? Of course, a massive fraud was perpetuated on a nation of 300 million people and there will be more fallout. However its the residue. In general, the housing market is in recovery. In some markets, its further along than in others. From this point forward, you have to look more to your local market than the national market to know what's happening.

And frankly.......you're in one of the better markets. Think about that when you pick the next place to live. If you were living in Columbia, SC right now, for an example.......you wouldn't be able to get out for years.
