When you write "labour" crossing a border, it isn't actually labour which crosses a border. It's a 75kg lump of wet chemistry closely related to chimps. I have no idea why such a monster should have the same regulatory controls as a bit or even a byte. <capital (and that includes intellectual capital which includes "bits") should have freedom to cross any given border with the exact same regulatory ease with which labor is allowed to cross that same border - >

I have very different regulations for large primates entering my house than I do for bytes. Bytes don't bite for a start and their toilet habits are impeccable. They don't get into the refrigerator, or try to mate with my daughters.

Why should countries have the same regulations for "labour" as bytes?
