<<shipping jobs overseas to make more money for HP shareholders>>

In the late 90’s corporate America and everyone else for that matter wanted to exploit overseas labor for profit. Before doing so government and corporate American had to make deals with say communist countries.

In the 90’s military contractors shared secret data with the Chinese government, (acts of treason), and all of it was swept under the rug in the name of this thing called, “the new global economy”. That is where this “cancer” really started when it became acceptable to forgo all morals and principles for profit. Soon after an American president lied under oath but we forgave him because we were enjoying an economical boom.

Little over a decade later we are even on the DOW and the WSJ, every day, has two or three stories in reference to some company paying a fine. Thirty years ago any public traded company wouldn’t dare do anything unethical as they knew their shareholders would dump the stock. Now days, it is the exact opposite. It is only about the money.
