Yes. But I didn't see any formal, deductive logical arguments going on. They were informal, and an appeal to authority is perfectly ok in such a setting.

Ok. But you haven't shown that either was faulty. They used standard values to plug into their model. You just threw them out without anything in the way of proof that said values didn't apply.

Just making claims without backing them up isn't an argument as much as a tantrum.
